I LOVE reading, and while everyone is posting these amazing new self-improvement books (which are still great of course), I love getting lost in a great fiction novel. My poison of choice is the Harry Potter series (yup, I'm a 12 year old at heart) and every time I read the books, nothing that is going on in the 'real world' weighs on me. Grab a book when you're heading out the door in the morning, and take 10 minutes of the day to just sit down (or hide in a closet if you have to) and read something that inspires, relaxes or transcends you. What's on your reading list right now?

Even I was surprised at how closing my eyes and listening to a few of my favourite songs totally changed my mood. Music is a great form of therapy and often our favourite songs come with positive memories that instantly remind us of good times. However random the mix is, try putting your top 3-5 songs on a playlist, put on some headphones and just tune out the world for 15 minutes!
